Help! Your planet needs you. With rising temperatures, ravaging fires, extreme droughts and floods happening around the globe, our environment is in grave danger. And, the only way to save mother earth is by spreading awareness and taking measures to converse our ecosystem.
Now for starters, we can begin by saving the lesser-known species of animals that might become extinct soon. Like, this unique breed of mammals called Pangolin. Pangolins are scaly, nocturnal animals that feast on ants. This endangered animal is highly sought after for its supposed medicinal benefits and its meat. In fact, they are said to be the most trafficked wild animal in the world.
However, people around the globe have come together to raise awareness and help save the Pangolins on World Pangolin Day. Each year February 15th is marked to raise awareness and celebrate this unique mammal. The conservation of Pangolins is essential so that the animal doesn’t become extinct.
A number of people of twitter are using the day to raise awareness about Pangolins and are also sharing interesting facts about the wild animal:
Do you know #Pangolins are the most trafficked mammal on planet. Unharmful & shy but still millions are hunted & trafficked across Asia & Africa. All eight species of them are under threat for their use in medicines. It is #WorldPangolinDay for raising awareness. AP Images. pic.twitter.com/n4pl6uQnCD

Pangolins globally most poached animals, they are killed because of their scaly skin made up of keratin, illegally traded to make items like shoes, jackets, etc. It’s the need of the hour to save these creatures, together, before their total wipe-out. #WorldPangolinDay

Today is #WorldPangolinDay.
This species is highly endangered because some people value their scales and flesh more than a living and breathing being 😒 https://t.co/x5FmVZqu65
