South Indian dishes, idli, vada and dosa have now become the staple breakfast of people across the country. And don’t get me started on chai. It’s probably the most loved drink in India that accompanies almost every dish and can be consumed at any time of the day or NIGHT! But going by the gastronomical rules, idli is supposed to be had with sambar, chutney or even gunpowder. But someone did a crime of dunking idli in a cup of tea. Yeah, I know, that hurts!
After making ‘Gulab Jamun Pao’, ‘Kurkure Milkshake’ and ‘Milk Maggi’ someone did this crime. A Reddit user shared a video where he was seen attempting the stunt, obviously to evoke some fun reactions. Captioning the video, he wrote, “Hello, I’m new to India. I hope I’m doing this right.”
Tea lovers in the country (who are probably 90% of the population) were appalled by his actions and decided to tell him, ‘No man, you aren’t doing it right!’
The video was also shared on Twitter by Reddit India and people gave it the reaction it deserved!

A user also challenged him to try dipping chicken tandoori in tea. And we just hope we never get to see this happen.
Reflecting on the past year I have realised how people have come up with bizarre food combinations that weren’t pleasing at all. I hope we say a big goodbye to this bizarre trend and stay WOKE with our food choices in 2020. May good sense prevail. AMEN!
