Dogs are a man’s best friend for several reasons, but mostly because they are so loyal and unconditional in their love for us. Thanks to pet videos circulating on the Internet, we know that they display some amazing intelligence too. So much so, that apparently, even Rahul Gandhi trusted his pet dog Pidi to tweet on his behalf! Did you think BJP would be far behind, then?
As you know, the Gujarat elections are in full swing right now, with both BJP and Congress facing off yet again. Exit polls predict an easy win for BJP but there’s someone else too who’s predictions have made BJP ecstatic.
Let me present you, BJP’s answer to RaGa’s Pidi!
BJP’s national information and technology in-charge, Amit Malviya, shared a video this morning of a cute little dog who is a big time Modi supporter!
Unfortunately we don’t know this cute dog’s name yet. But what we do know is that if you ask him whether it’ll be Modi’s government in Gujarat, he responds rather enthusiastically!
However, ask him if it will be Rahul Gandhi or Congress who will be victorious and the cute one becomes still as a rock. See for yourself!

Basically, the lady in the video is asking the dog in Gujarati,”Congress aavaano,” and “Modi aavano?” which means “Is Congress coming (in power)?” and “Is Modi/BJP coming (in power)?” to which the dog gestures on the second option.
Alright then, doggo!
Twitter had a fun time making the Pidi connection!

We’ve had apes and octopuses predict elections and international events, so why not dogs? Maybe they know something we don’t, right? Bow wow!
