Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and his actor wife Anushka Sharma recently announced the impending arrival of their child by posting a cute picture on social media.
Virushka have been staying together since India was put under lockdown months ago. However, Virat is now out on the fields to lead his team Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL). The couple also celebrated the good news with the RCB team recently.
During an interview, the dad-to-be expressed his feelings on venturing on this new journey, reported The Indian Express.
“It is an incredible feeling. It puts things into perspective for you. It is difficult to describe how you feel, but when we found it, we were over the moon. The kind of love that was showered on us when we announced it was amazing. People were genuinely so emotional and happy for us. We are looking forward to the third member joining the clan.”
Virat also divulged that this was the first time that he could spend so much quality time with Anushka ever since they started dating.
“We never got so much time to spend together ever since we started seeing each other. This is the longest we got to spend together. To be home with the one you love, you couldn’t ask for anything better and we just made the most of that whole time and created a routine for ourselves. We didn’t pressurise ourselves on learning this or that. It was tough initially, but we got used to it.”
The couple has been keeping their fans entertained by posting snippets from their time spent at home together.
