Mamaearth Boss Says Netflix, LinkedIn, Infosys Founders Don’t Believe In Work-Life Balance

In recent times, we have been seeing an ongoing debate regarding work-life balance and the opinions surrounding it aren’t one track. Some advocate for flexible schedules and remote work options, like Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google’s parent company Alphabet, who promotes a blend of work and personal life. “I bet you don’t know what’s common among the founders of Infosys, LinkedIn, Netflix, and Reddit. They all believe that work-life balance does not exist for people building businesses. However, I think the definition of work-life balance is misunderstood,” she wrote.

She went on to explain that work-life balance is subjective and its definition varies from person to person, keeping their own aspirations, priorities, and age in mind.

“Some might choose to balance it on a day-to-day basis. Someone else can choose to balance over a week by stretching on weekdays and chilling on weekends. This debate ends when people can choose what matters most to them at any given time,” she expressed.
