Many Indians dedicate their lives to hard work, saving diligently and prioritizing the needs of their families over their own desires. They sacrifice personal luxuries with the hope of enjoying life’s pleasures in retirement. With a bucket list in mind, they dream of exploring new places and experiencing different things once they reach their golden years. And that is exactly what this couple is doing.
A retired Punjabi couple is road-tripping across India from Delhi to Kanyakumari and enjoying their retirement. They move around from one place to another in their car and stop midway on the road to cook their meals.
They are travelling with a makeshift kitchen, a foldable table and two chairs where they can cook and eat their meals. They pick up vegetables and other ingredients from roadside shops and both of them divide cooking duties amongst themselves. If aunty ji cooks, uncle ji peels and cuts the vegetables or cleans everything afterwards.
