If you have been sitting alongside your desi mom and watching the TV serials she watches every day then you would agree that some of the scenes shown in them make no sense. In fact, they are cringe-worthy, to say the least.
From woman fainting and falling into a suitcase to doctor using ‘Scotch Brite’ to give shock to the patient, we have seen quite a few ridiculous things happening.
Talking of ridiculous, a scene from a popular Indian TV serial has made its way online. It has been extensively shared with people pointing out how logic seems to take a back seat in such programs.
In the video that is from a popular show ‘Sasural Simar Ka’, one of the characters named Pari is seen apologizing to her grandmother ‘Mataji’ begging her not to leave. And amid all the ruthna and manana, Pari somehow gets tangled in Mataji’s shawl and chokes herself to death. Mataji, unaware of what’s happening just behind her, grabs the shawl tightly and tries to pull it harder, leaving Pari unconscious on the floor.

The more we watch this clip, the more it disappoints us. Let’s see how people online feel about this drama-packed, illogical scene.

Apparently, this isn’t the first scene from the show that made headlines. Earlier, the same characters indulged in a brawl leading to Pari choking herself with a curtain.

Well, I think either Pari needs to stay away from unattended clothes or the makers should start putting sense into the serials. We are just relieved that the show ended ages ago.
