Since 2011, there has been a sasural that has kept Indian soap opera viewers quite busy. It’s one sasural, where the laws of logic and common sense are neither common nor applicable. Some even say that the sasural is situated in a realm that is not part of planet Earth. Arey, sacchi!
But one of the longest running shows (6 years) is coming to an end and the last episode will air on September 19. (‘FINALLY!’, hoomans are exclaiming.)
Bye bye. Spoons of the world will forever be grateful to you. 😭 pic.twitter.com/jUf1T3Tbvf

Ask us, what we are up to? Ask, na? 😛
We are taking a look at the show’s most bizarre moments that made absolutely no sense in the history of making sense. And, we are bringing that to you. Oh, come on! It’s fun, I promise.
1. It started as a show that would show women empowerment but ended up turning Simar (the protagonist) into a fly.
2. There was a time they had incorporated the Hall of Faces (yes, from Game of Thrones) into the show.
3. It was the only show to have a dayan, naagin, basic humans, fictional characters and a lot of supernatural creatures (some unheard of) co-existing in one space.
4. Oh, there was a time when Simar’s baby looked like this.
5. They were the only ones to lay enough stress upon the importance of laddoos, which are the deciding factors of one’s career.
6. The show’s characters were introduced to the concept of ‘jaduyi aaina’. Umm, two-sided mirror.
There was a time Simar took one helluva trip to hell and heaven. Oh, then people kept dying like it was a no-biggie and Simar’s sasural was one of the most happening places. Arey, celebrities came to promote their films there. Not only that, there were moments on the show, you’d see some really effed up priorities on part of human behaviour.
I want to add more, but then how many “EPIC” instances can a normal hooman remember?
BTW, the show rounded off some 1966 episodes as on September 1. So, you can imagine 1966 times they had something really classic to show. Hence, those many EPIC moments #JustSaying
The show’s finally ending. So with it would end the series of mind-numbing plot-twists. There’s only a limited amount of “awesomeness” a human mind can withstand. Some might even say that the show was waaayyyyy ahead of its time.
