Youth Performs #KikiChallenge At Mumbai CSMT, RPF Promises To Identify And Punish Him

I am just about done with the whole #KikiChallenge or #InMyFeelings challenge. Ab bas bhi karo, yaar! It’s been done to death and has outlived its moment in the spotlight. Move on, find a new fad to drool over. You know you’ve gone too far if even the police departments in our country have to put out warnings against an Internet challenge. Or else, if at all, you do absolutely need to do it (which I’m pretty sure won’t be the case), do it in a safe manner that doesn’t involve jumping out of moving vehicles.

But despite the countless warnings, common sense seems to not be that common. As evidenced by a young man who decided to put an Indian railway twist to the mindless challenge.

A video going viral on the internet, shows a guy do the #KikiChallenge at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) while a train is in motion.

The video “Kiki Challenge On Mumbai Local Trains”, was posted on YouTube on July 30th. Since being posted, the video has gained quite some traction. So much so, that it caught the eye of The Central Railway’s Railway Protection Force (RPF).

In true #KikiChallenge fashion, the youth can be seen to jump from a local train onto the platform and dance along with the train as it moves, with the CSMT station board clearly visible in one shot.

While some viewers found the stunt “cool”, Sachin Bhalode, senior divisional security commissioner Central Railway clearly didn’t.

Speaking to Mid-Day, he says:

“We’ve seen the footage uploaded by a YouTube user and I’ve asked my officials to find the man doing this Kiki dance challenge. Once we find him, we’ll book him under section 156 (Travelling on roof, step or engine of a train) of the Indian Railway Act. We consider this act as a stunt on the railways, which is dangerous for life. I’m also appealing to people to not perform this Kiki dance challenge. It is risky to your life.”

Come on, people stop it now. Even Kiki must be tired of y’all constantly bombarding her with these. And for heaven’s sake, stop jumping out of moving vehicles.
