On June 20, in Hyderabad, actor Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Kamineni welcomed their daughter into this world. The little one’s grandparents (Anil and Shobana Kamineni, Chiranjeevi and Surekha Konidela) named her Klin Kaara Konidela. It is a rather unusual name which signifies a “transformative, purifying energy that brings about a spiritual awakening”.

On Friday, the baby’s naming ceremony took place. The family shared gorgeous pictures from the traditional ceremony and revealed to the world her name.

If you ask me, traditional names given to babies by their celebrity parents nowadays are a rare thing to see. It’s good to see at least one couple adhering to their roots! 😀
