Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore has made India proud by winning an Olympic medal in shooting. And after taking over the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Rathore has kept his love for fitness alive by taking on Hrithik Roshan and Virat Kohli. On the other hand, Mary Kom has and is still continuing to make our country proud by doing exemplary feats such as losing 2 kgs in 4 hours and winning the gold. But do you know what happened when these titans (kind of) clashed?
Recently Mary Kom tweeted a video of her in full boxing training attire. And in front of her was a man in a white shirt and pants. Yes, that was none other than Rajyavardhan Rathore who was there to have a taste of Mary’s skills.
It’s evident that Mary Kom is holding back, because if she goes off, the entire room full of people will be on the floor. That said, despite being in formal clothing, Rajyavardhan does hold his own as he swiftly moves around Mary, dodging her jabs and landing some as well.

Our country has been obsessed with cricket and there’s no harm in promoting or enjoying it. But there are a lot of talented individuals, interested in many other kinds of sports, who are trying to make it to the top. So, it’s great to see the Minister of Sports coming down for a training session and promoting boxing for a change. And what’s not to like about seeing Mary Kom move like a butterfly and sting like a bee.
