Rajyavardhan Rathore Performs Push-Ups In Office, Throws Fitness Challenge To All Indians

Professional shooter and Union Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore is a well-known figure in this country. The glorious sportsman made history in the 2004 Olympic Games when he won the silver medal for India in the double trap event. Being an ex-army officer, the retired colonel follows a strict fitness routine and on Tuesday, tried to encourage the youth of the country on the same.

Rathore took to Twitter to upload a video of him as a part of the #HumFitTohIndiaFit campaign in his bid to encourage the Indians to get fitter.

He began his speech by praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi and hailed him for working relentlessly for the nation.

The Athens Olympian then went down to perform 10 push-ups and urged the countrymen to make videos of their fitness regime and upload it on Twitter.

The 48-year-old pulled off the exercise dressed in his work clothes, effortlessly. As special mentions, he invited Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli, 2012 London Olympic medalist Saina Nehwal, and Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan to take the challenge.

The move by the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports was highly appreciated by the Tweeple as praises poured in for Rathore.
