Hrithik Roshan Accepts Rajyavardhan Rathore’s Fitness Challenge By Cycling His Way To Work

Ever since Hrithik Roshan burst onto celluloid with ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’, he has been recognised for his supreme good looks, his versatility in acting and his effortless dance movies. On top of all that, he’s hugely popular for his physique, which he has proudly flaunted throughout his career. So, when Rajyavardhan Rathore asked Hrithik to join his venture for a fitter India, the actor gladly participated by showing off his fitness routine.

Rathore recently took to Twitter to launch his #HumFitTohIndiaFit campaign and began the journey with some push-ups.

Rathore, who is an Olympic Games medallist and currently in charge of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, cited Narendra Modi as his inspiration for fitness. Following that, he performed some push-ups in his work clothes and requested Hrithik Roshan, Virat Kohli and Saina Nehwal to join in.

Hrithik Roshan responded to Rathore’s challenge by showing off the vehicle he uses on a daily basis to reach his workplace, a cycle.

Hrithik further added that it’s much better to cycle to your work instead of sitting idly in your car. And that’s true because you aren’t burning any calories by just sitting. In addition to that, the actor urged everyone to walk, cycle and feel India in order to get fit.

There’s a common misconception that actors and actresses live in the gym to maintain those perfect bodies. However, Hrithik’s video is proof that you don’t need weights and expensive devices to stay fit. Just cycling will do.

Hrithik’s simple advice resonated with everyone on Twitter and they thanked him for inspiring them.

1. Fans are already feeling fit.

2. Truly, it is.

3. Everyone should adapt this method.

4. Leading by example.

5. You’re saving the environment in the process.

India is hugely populated and every street is equally filled with vehicles which are polluting the environment. So, instead of waiting for the Govt. to take action, maybe we can take Hrithik’s example, ditch our motorised vehicles and cycle our way to wherever we need to go. That’s a guaranteed way of keeping our body and India clean.
