Getting robbed is any shopkeeper’s worst nightmare. Imagine losing all your hard-earned money to an armed person. It sounds scary, doesn’t it? Well, sometimes the thief might leave empty-handed if the cash register is empty or if the shopkeeper is smart enough to foil the robbery. Either way, it’s a win-win situation for the owner of a shop.
Recently, a burglar landed in a dreaded situation when he tried to rob a Punjabi man’s departmental store. In a video posted online, a robber can be seen entering the store while the Sikh shopkeeper was busy on his phone. When the mugger gets in, the polite shopkeeper stands up to greet him, reports News 18. The hooded man then reveals what appears to be a gun and asks the shopkeeper to hand over all the money in the store.

Not panicking at all, the shopkeeper calmly asks “Anything else?” before reaching out for the cash box. But instead of getting money, he reaches further down the counter to fetch a metal rod. And then in true desi style, he yells a Punjabi expletive before chasing the mugger out of his store.
The video, which appears to be footage from the store’s security camera, has garnered some hilarious views online:
