Shopkeeper Asks Robbers To Come Back When He Has Money, They Fall For His Bluff Twice

There’s no doubt about the fact that robbery is a crime. There can be a budhi maa at her deathbed or the mafia on your back, robbery is still a crime. That said, those who do it are really brave because they’ve to get in, do the deed and then get out. And, as far as we’ve seen in movies and TV shows, the easy part’s getting in and the hard part’s getting out. But a bunch of robbers still got caught after getting two whole chances to escape.

According to BBC, a Belgian e-cigarette shop owner, Didier, was going about his daily job. But suddenly he was visited by six hooded men who tried to rob him. He said,

“There was some pushing and shoving. I didn’t give them a thing, but said if they came back later I would have 2 or 3,000 euros.”

That’s right. Didier promised to give them 2000-3000 euros (which roughly amounts to ₹1 lakh to ₹2 lakh) if they came back at the end of the day. And they actually believed him and left!

Any other novice robber would’ve thought that they have given away their element of surprise, and know the victim will be prepared. So, they should abort the mission. But these six geniuses were not like the rest of us. Didier said,

“When I called the police, they didn’t believe they would come back.”

However, they did come back at 5:30PM. Didier again told them that it wasn’t end of business. And they again believed him and left and came back at 6:30PM. But unfortunately this time, it wasn’t only Didier who was waiting for them. The police were there at the shop with him. Didier said,

“It’s like it was a comedy. They’re being called the worst robbers in Belgium.”

Well, after what they did, they deserve to be called the “worst robbers in Belgium”. Maybe they can go a step further and call them the worst robbers in the whole wide world.
