In the past, we came across certain instances where food vendors were caught using toilet water to make food and drinks. Such incidents left people shocked and they were asked to be very careful about the kind of street food they consumed. However, one wouldn’t expect the need to be wary of food served at weddings. But one video which recently went viral demands people to be cautious.
According to a report by Times Now, a video of a man allegedly spitting on rotis before putting it inside a tandoor has gone viral online. The incident occurred at a wedding in Meerut where the man was cooking.
The video was reportedly shot by a wedding guest secretly who alleged that the man spat on the rotis and asked the Meerut police to take necessary action against the man. The accused has been identified as Naushad alias Sohail, reports News18.

Meerut police took to Twitter to announce that the accused has been caught and necessary action is being taken against him. They also said that that the man is due to undergo a Covid-19 test.

However, one user shared an alternative view. He suggested that instead of spitting, the accused might have been blowing dry flour evenly on the roti for it to not stick to the tandoor.
Sir i think he was blowing dust( dry Flour) so that bread can stick easly inside tandoor. It’s technical part. But if he was really spiting then please don’t let him out of cage. Thanks
