5-YO Invites His Kindergarten Class To Adoption Hearing, They Show Up With Big Red Hearts

Adoption is a difficult process, not just for the parents but for the children too. They have to be emotionally and mentally prepared for this drastic change. However, in some cases, the kids are stronger and better prepared than their adoptive parents. I mean, have you seen the picture of the orphan girl eagerly waiting for her new parents or the video where a boy gifted his father adoption papers? Such kind tales always hold a special place in your heart.

Recently, another such incident touched our soul. A five-year-old child invited all his kindergarten classmates for his adoption hearing. Michael Clark Jr showed up at the courthouse in Michigan with his foster parents and a crowd of unusual supporters, reports Indian Express.

Michael’s mother told CNN that the boy’s teacher had proposed the idea of having his classmates at the hearing. As the two of them agreed to make the big day special for Michael, his teacher ensured that all the required arrangements were made.

Michael brought his entire kindergarten class with him today to witness his adoption.

In this heartwarming gesture, Michael’s classmates filled up the rows of the Kent County courtroom and waved big red hearts mounted on wooden sticks to show their support. Also, when the judge asked them to explain what Michael means to them, the kindergartners gave touching answers like “I love Michael” or “Michael’s my best friend.”

The five-year-old was adopted by a couple in whose care he has been for a year now. The loving parents were glad that their kid has such beautiful friends. Good company makes or breaks a man, doesn’t it?
