Desi Mom Makes ‘Daal’ Tutorial For Soon-To-Be Married Son, Twitter Says ‘Great Training’

I am in my late twenties and I still can’t distinguish Masoor daal and Moong daal. It particularly becomes a problem when you have to live away from your family and start craving ghar ka khana after weeks of living off anda bread! Every once in awhile during grocery store visits, I have to search online to see which daal looks like what!

To make sure her soon-to-be-married son can identify different kinds of daal so he has no problem while picking up groceries and while cooking, a desi mom made a copy wherein she glued different types of daal and captioned them. Have a look:

As the picture went viral, people online claimed how it was “great training” of the soon-to-be groom by his mother. Many claimed how this should be taught to everyone irrespective of gender.
