The ‘Tum Hi Ho’ singer has been consistent with his hard work and it shows in people’s willingness to even spend lakhs of rupees to just listen to him live at a concert.
Hence, it’s obvious for us to think that the small-town boy from Jiaganj in Murshidabad, West Bengal must be living a lavish life in Mumbai. Well, he does have a home in Mumbai but he spends most of his time with his family in his hometown. But he’s a simple and down to Earth person from his core who liked to do regular house chores and live a normal life.
He goes to pick up his kids from school like a normal responsible parent and even goes grocery shopping in his ghar ke kapde with a jhoola, just like us. Yes, he does that.
Recently, the musical sensation was spotted in the small bylanes of his hometown Murshidabad in West Bengal. In the video that’s now going viral, Arijit (the 4th most-followed artist globally and the most-followed Asian) was seen heading out for grocery shopping on a scooter.
In the video shared online, dressed in his comfy clothes, Arijit carried a bag and walked out of his home towards his parked scooter. Exchanging pleasantries with his excited neighbours and having a casual talk with them about his wife and kids in Bengali, he tucked his bag inside his scooter and wooshed away to the market.

The internet is in awe of this man who is winning hearts with his simplicity. Some were also concerned about him not wearing a helmet while driving the two-wheeler.
