In the recently held IPL 2023 opening ceremony held in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi stadium, Arijit Singh took over the stage to perform for the jam-packed stadium. When MS Dhoni went up on the stage, Arijit humbly bent down to touch his feet in a gesture of great respect.

Arijit Singh’s humble nature is not unknown to his fans. In the past, there have been reports of him living a very un-celebrity-like life – wearing simple clothes, visiting his son’s school to pick him up, and going to neighbourhood markets to pick up groceries.
