Popular opinion is that Shashi Tharoor is a class apart. After all, besides his remarkable English-speaking skills, the man defines poise and intelligence. However, even the most dignified person in the room makes blunders one in a while!
Speaking of which, Shashi Tharoor’s ‘World Environment Day’ picture is all shades of cringe! According to News18, Tharoor took to Twitter to post a picture of himself against the background of greenery and mountains.
“The greatest threat to the planet is the belief that someone else will save it” – read the quote on the picture.
The geographical inaccuracy of placing greenery right below mountains, the font (dear lord, the font!), and Tharoor’s expression (which basically looks like he’s asking, “Hello child. Like my editing skills?”) makes the picture immensely comical!
Have a look at his tweet here:

People on the internet cannot digest what a big “photoshop fail” the picture is! Many took to the comment section to write how Tharoor was better than this. Have a look:
Please fire whoever is making these kitsch posters for you. A man of your aesthetic sensibility could do much better.
