Some people say ‘couples that eat together, stay together’. However, in recent times, that saying has been modified to ‘couples that cook together, stay together’. There are also variations that include travelling, working out and laughing but our favourite is the one about cricket.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) recently shared an image of Hasan Tasleem and his wife watching the second T20I between Pakistan and Australia that took place on November 5 at the Manuka Oval in Canberra. Interestingly, it was also the Michigan-based couple’s wedding night!

The newly married cricket fan revealed,
“Over the years residing in North America I’ve stayed up at all sorts of odd hours of night to catch Team Pakistan play. Even though it was my wedding night, I wasn’t going to miss this game.”
Australian T20 captain Aaron Finch (who can be seen in the TV screenshot) also shared the photo.
