In India, the words instant noodles and Maggi are used interchangeably. A couple of years ago, the brand was declared unhealthy and unfit for consumption and withdrawn from the market. It was a time of great sadness for every desi ramen lover until the Bombay High Court lifted the ban and we were once again reunited with our favourite comfort food.
Everyone knows that instant noodles can be eaten as breakfast, lunch, dinner or midnight snack. But did you know that it can also patch up broken sinks?
Maria Fernanda Interiors shared a video on their Instagram handle that shows a DIYer using uncooked ramen noodles to repair a cracked sink and the results are unbelievable.
Subsequently, the video was shared on Twitter by user @riamichaelss and it went on to be retweeted 56,000 times in two days! People were surprised to find that the mended sink looked as good as new. But a few netizens raised some practical questions like – would ants get attracted to the noodles? What will happen if hot water splashed on the noodles?
Apart from the incredulity of it all, the most important thing everyone wanted to know was – why did he use the seasoning packet?
Like wait. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 pic.twitter.com/ZqRaWaaNUS
