Two Men Die While Playing PUBG As A Train Runs Over Them In Maharashtra

Cases of violence or deaths due to the online multiplayer battle game, PUBG is no news. From the man who stabbed his sister’s fiance after his phone battery died while playing the game to the teenager who committed suicide because his parents weren’t buying him an expensive smartphone to play the game, cases of devastation by PUBG are many.

In a similar recent case, two men in their mid-20s were indulged in the game near railway tracks when a train ran over them in Hingoli, Maharashtra, reported NDTV. The train bound to Ajmer from Hyderabad killed Nagesh Gore (24) and Swapnil Annapurne (22) in the accident.

The bodies were found by the local residents late at night along the railway tracks who informed the police later.

Talking about some other similar cases, a teenager from Jalandhar stole Rs 50000 from his dad to buy things like weapon and clothes on PUBG, another youth drank acid instead of water while playing the game.

No wonder, several cities in the country are banning the game. Rajkot, Ahmedabad has already issued a strict ban on the game. Rajkot police have also arrested some people for violating the rule.

When every other day you stumble upon mishaps happening that involves a highly addictive game like PUBG, you can be sure that video game addiction is real and fatal. Play safe, people and please don’t be ignorant of your real world while being immersed in a virtual world.
