Even if you’re a stranger in Mumbai, you can always count on those unknown faces when you get in a mess. One can always find a helping hand, ready to pick them up in the city of dreams.
And like Mumbai ke stars, the financial capital of India is also famous for its monsoons. And in this cham-chamati baarish, someone didn’t want to go to work. Hence, to get his week off approved, he took the help of strangers online.
So, there is this mobile application ‘M-Indicator’ which provides information about public transportation in Mumbai. Why am I giving you this gyan? Well, this is where this guy went to ask for help.
In the chat box of the app, the person asked unknown people to respond to his query that trains are not working after Goregaon. He wanted to take a screengrab of the chat and share it with his boss testifying that he is telling the truth that he can’t travel beyond Goregaon because of this legit reason.
And as friendly as Mumbaikars can be, they did exactly what this person wanted.
Obviously, taking a cab in Mumbai is expensive AFÂ and if the most reliable public transport, the local train, isn’t operational, it leaves them with no option but to skip going out. And guess what, his idea worked and his off got approved.
Aren’t people just amazing? This is how others reacted to reading about the collective efforts of strangers to help a guy get a holiday.
What an intelligent guy and kudos to these sweet Mumbaikars! #UnityInDiversity
