In the past couple of months, a bunch of actors from India have visited the West for certain film-related events. ‘RRR’ star Jr. NTR went to the Golden Globes and the Oscars, Saif and Kareena attended the Red Sea Film Festival, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan recently visited London for the premiere of ‘Citadel’, that stars Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden and is produced by the Russo Brothers.

But what’s common in all these celebrities who visited the West recently is that they all put on a fake American and British accent while speaking to the press. First, it was Saif Ali Khan, who hilariously switched to a British accent while giving a short interview and then it was Jr. NTR who spoke in an American accent.
And now it’s Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who at the ‘Citadel’ premiere in London, spoke to a member of the press in a foreign accent. Varun Dhawan, on the other hand, looks visibly surprised. However, he spoke in a way he usually does and didn’t have to put on an accent.
