SRK Responds To Fan Asking Him The Rent Of A Room In His ₹200 Crore Home, Mannat

Celebrities often surround themselves with or sport expensive things. For example, Kim Kardashian West’s walk-in refrigerator, Nita Ambani’s Hermès Himalaya Birkin bag, Dan Bilzerian’s Richard Mille RM11-03 watch and Suhana Khan’s Balmain dress. And these things often ignite our curiosity as to exactly how much they cost.

The same was the case with a Shah Rukh Khan fan who wanted to know the rent of a room in Mannat. Pegged at Rs.200 crore, the sea-facing bungalow in Bandra is the most expensive thing the actor owns, reports Hindustan Times.

According to News18, the Badshah of Bollywood tackled this question (which was a part of his #AskSRK series) with humility and wit in equal measure. The rent of a room in Mannat costs “30 years of hard work”.

Did you know the Mannat was originally called Villa Vienna? Here Gauri Khan stands on the front steps of Mannat. This Grade III #heritage structure took four years to style.

Thank you SRK, for reminding us that success is not about numbers but dedication, hard work, and passion. Earlier, Michelin star chef Vikas Khanna also gave a glimpse of his struggling days in New York when he was a dishwasher by sharing an old letter he wrote to his Biji almost 20 years ago.
