People who work corporate jobs have spent much of their lives doing everything by the book – school, college, university, multiple internships, certifications and whatnot before they bagged a corporate job at a company they were excited about. However, there have been a lot of people who have come to the realisation that the amount of money they earn on a monthly basis and the amount of money that was invested in the years prior to the job opportunity are vastly different.
If we were to compare, a lot of roadside food sellers and cab drivers earn way more than corporate employees. Even beggars in Mumbai have a larger net worth than many of us! Which is why one particular street food seller selling dosas found it fitting to roast corporate employees for the salaries they earn.
In a video that’s gone viral on Instagram, the man can be heard saying, “Main thoda padha likha kam hun tabhi zyada kama raha hun, varna main bhi koi tees-chalees hazaar ka naukri karta.”
This roughly translates to, “I earn a lot because I am not very educated. Otherwise, I would also have been doing some job paying Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000 a month.”
