Randeep Hooda garnered a lot of praises for his portrayal of Sarabjit Singh in Omung Kumar’s Sarbjit. For the role, Randeep went to great lengths to get into the skin of his character. Now, when in India the debate is heated about the trial of Kubhushan Jadhav, Randeep doesn’t want Jadhav to be another Sarabjit.
Taking to Twitter, Randeep posted a series of tweets while showing his support for the Jadhav family and slamming the decision.
Hooda said out loud how the trial reeks of lies and it seems really fishy.
No trial, no evidence, only a closed military court proceeding??? It reeks of lies.. #Pakistan is making another #Sarbjit #KulbhushanJadhav

He even pointed out how Jadhav’s human rights have been violated.
My heart goes out to him.. the unimaginable torture to confess & total human rights violation that happen in #Pakistan #KulbhushanJadhav

Hooda has immense faith in our system. It was only yesterday Sushma Sawraj said in the Parliament, that she’d get Jadhav out.
I have immense faith in the strong leadership of our country.. maybe we should break him out @SushmaSwaraj @narendramodi #KulbhushanJadhav

Randeep urged all to stand tall with Jadhav’s family and show them their support.
Let his family know how much support the has from the entire country ..let us be heard across the #LOC #KulbhushanJadhav we are with you 👊💪

Even Rishi Kapoor spoke his mind and slammed Pakistan’s decision.
Sorry India.Tried to broker peace via actors, films, sports etc..with Pakistan, but they just want hatred,so be it!Taali do haath se bajti hai!

On April 10, news broke that Pakistan’s government has sentenced Kulbhushan Singh Jadhav, an Indian Navy Officer, to death on the charges of espionage in Balochistan. Since then, media and social media is abuzz with the fate of India’s son.
Will Indian Government be able to save Jadhav? Only time will tell.
