We bash people when they stereotype women but we keep forgetting that even men tend to get stereotyped, often by women. Men get boxed into bizarre stereotypes – like all of them are sports fanatics, none of them can do household chores, they’re emotionally distant and get aggressive quickly. But these are far from true. These stereotypes are as accurate as thinking all Brits drink tea in monocles.
Indian men, like everyone else, are a tapestry of unique stories, personalities, and experiences. This was revealed when a user took to Reddit’s r/AskIndia to ask women what are the stereotypes about men that they eventually found out were not true.
