You Won’t Believe What Randeep Hooda Looks Like For His Latest Film

We last saw Randeep Hooda in the critically acclaimed movie, Main Aur Charles, a biopic on charming murderer Charles Sobhraj.

And now, he’s gearing up for his role in Omung Kumar’s latest biopic, Sarbjit, based on the real life story of Sarabjit Singh, who was tried and convicted in Pakistan for spying and terrorism, and eventually died after 23 years.

Randeep Hooda has made an unrecognisable transformation for his new role

Director Omung Kumar posted a tweet earlier today, thanking Hooda for being a perfectionist to essay this role. Clearly, the change is radical.

This radical metamorphosis by the actor, who has been known for his physique and macho body, comes as nothing less than a huge surprise. Although his shaggy and unkempt hair and beard look very out of place and natural, the most horrifying point about him is his body. In preparation for his role, Randeep Hooda lost more than 18 kgs. in less than a month.

Sarabjit Singh was an Indian farmer near the border of India-Pakistan, who said he ventured mistakenly into Pakistan land. He was accused and tried in court for being a spy and for causing a series of blasts in Lahore and Faisalabad. Although he was sentenced to a death penalty, Sarabjit Singh died after succumbing to an attack by the inmates.

Sarbjit, directed by Omung Kumar, of Mary Kom fame, also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Sarabjit’s sister Dalbir Kaur, and Richa Chadda in an important role, and is slated to be released on the 19th of May, 2016.

Cannot wait for this gripping drama!
