A new development has occurred regarding the Pune Porsche accident case. The police have claimed that the driver of the Porsche car was present with the accused, Vedant Agarwal, during the incident. According to Economic Times, Vedant’s father, Vishal Agarwal, had allegedly instructed the driver to let the minor drive the car, despite being aware that he didn’t have a driving licence.
Firstpost reports that while making a statement before special judge SP Ponkshe, crime branch inspector Ganesh Mane said the driver, during the probe, confessed that Vishal Agarwal had given the car only to him (the driver) and not to his son for driving. The driver had alleged, in his statement, that Vedant insisted on driving the car in a drunken state following which he (the driver) called the minor’s father.
The father of the minor then told his driver to let the teen drive the car and asked him to take the adjacent seat, the police told the court.

In many such hit-and-run and drunken-driving cases the accused tends to shift the blame on the driver, who may or may not be present during the incident. We have all read about incidents like these in the past.
This was predictable.
Next, while this case lingers, this minor will grow up literally and figuratively and start an NGO to help the poor.
Media will hail his efforts to build a good image for him.

This is so sick. Even with the entire nation sticking their eyes to the case, this happens.
