People Reveal Hidden Messages Using Water With The ‘Paper Towel Challenge’

I believe most of the people reading this are either on TikTok or at least have seen a video online that made them cringe real hard. Well, I am there too just because the creators get views and I get a lot of laughter, hisaab barabar!

But sometimes, the challenge videos that emerge online go way too far, even proving fatal. For starters, the ‘Skull breaker challenge’, ‘Salt challenge’, ‘Cereal challenge’ and the list is endless.

Well, this time there’s another challenge that has kept people busy. The ‘Paper Towel Challenge’ is a physically harmless challenge where people write their secret messages on a paper towel. But the magic happens when the towel is placed in water. And bam, it reveals your Mann ki Baat.

Here’s how it works:

  • Take a paper towel, fold it in half and write a message on the front side of the paper towel with a marker.
  • On the backside of the towel write the secret message that you want to be revealed once it hits the water.  And bam, you are ready to go.

So, people jumped on the bandwagon and wrote their incomplete messages on them. While some found a cute note, most of them were quite disappointed with the hidden messages.

With Holi right around the corner, this challenge appears more like the ‘Rang Badley’ challenge. To me, the towel appears like the quintessential aunty jinkey mann me kuch aur aur muh me kuch aur hota hai.

BTW, people wasting paper towels, just a reminder, we are facing a huge crisis. Just putting it out there, casually!
