Sometimes, even when we know what’s the right thing to do, we don’t do it. Like driving in the right lane, wearing a helmet while riding a two-wheeler, closing the tap while brushing and getting dripping taps fixed. Because we need reminding on how important traffic rules and water conservation are, animals are showing us the way.
Recently, a cow was seen patiently waiting for the traffic signal to turn green and a monkey was seen securely closing the tap after drinking water.
Now Twitter user @Niharika_nsp has shared a video with another important lesson. It shows a monkey trying to prevent water wastage from a leaking pipe. It tries to stop the flow with its hands and then some dry leaves from the ground.
If other beings of the #wild can have such #grace, #intelligence and #sensitivity …then I really don't know what went wrong with us #humans ..#whoaretherealanimals ?@AdityaPanda @ParveenKaswan pic.twitter.com/cSzFtZm4FY

After watching the video, people remarked that the monkey was far wiser than us to realize that the precious resource needed to be conserved. And it is humans that take it for granted.
The monkey’s small but significant action to save water received applause from everyone online. They also lamented that the fact conservation of natural resources was instinctual with animals but not a habit for humans.

He knows what he's doing trying hard to prevent wastage of water. Who will motivate the human to act more responsibly?

Animals pave the way for regeneration of natural resources by the way they live, eat etc. And here we also see him saving a precious resource. Humans have the sense of entitlement which is the root cause of the planet's miseries.

This is indeed a wake-up call for everyone to take notice of the paucity of water and take timely action.
