We have already seen the effects of global warming and climate change that has been taking a toll on our country. The severe water crisis that has hit Chennai, the dangerous Assam floods, all bear testimony to the fact that the environment is in grave danger. The only solution to this problem is conserving our resources to the best of our abilities.

Humans tend to take little things for granted – like closing the taps when water isn’t being used. Imagine the amount of water that would go to waste if every person in the country left the taps open even for a few seconds.

However, while humans tend to ignore these small details, animals prove to have better sense. In a video that has been going viral on the internet, a monkey can be seen drinking water from the tap and then closing it once quenching its thirst.

While it is true that this act by a monkey is in itself astonishing, it also bears an important message of being mindful of closing water taps after its use.

According to sources, the video was posted by Dr S.Y. Quraishi, the former Chief Election Commissioner of India, and has been viewed over 69,000 times. Netizens are praising the monkey who seems to be wiser than many humans!

Science may state that humans have evolved from monkeys and are the superior race, but these animals sure are the wiser kind!
