The passenger, a resident of Saharanpur district in Uttar Pradesh, told officials that he was carrying the food items in his bag on behalf of someone else. The CISF authorities suspect that the man is a courier for smuggling out currency as he has traveled to many foreign locations in the past.

The suspect along with the seized currency has now been handed over to Customs authorities.
