60-YO Kerala Woman Calls 20kg Python ‘Bacha’ & Rescues It With Her Bare Hands, Watch Video

An encounter with a venomous snake can be scary as these terrifying creatures have the ability to kill you with a bite. A concerned grandpa had shared pictures to create awareness after his grandkids had a close encounter with a deadly snake. But in some cases, it’s the deadly reptile that needs help.

Recently, a huge python was trapped in a lawn of a residential complex in Ernakulam, Kerala. In a video shared online, a woman can be seen rescuing the snake, that reportedly weighed 20kg, with her bare hands, reports Indian Express.

60-year-old Vidya Raju, reportedly the wife of a senior naval officer recused the snake with the help of two men, who held the reptile by its tail while she put the snake’s mouth inside a bag and tied it, reports NDTV. She handled the snake with great care and even consoled it by constantly calling it “bacha”.

She was praised online for her quick thinking and compassionate act:

Raju routinely assists in the rescue of reptiles and is not at all afraid of them. Previously, a woman had saved a snake stuck in beer can despite being scared of it. We applaud the courage and compassion of such thoughtful women.
