Twitter Now Asks Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos To Help Save The Burning Amazon Rainforest!

The Amazon forest fire is burning at record rates. Almost 20% of the largest rain forest in the world is swiftly turning to ashes. The devastating impact of the wildfire is so intense that it is also visible from space. The smoke from the forest fire has reached cities miles away covering them in a dark haze.

The wildfires in the Amazon rainforest have been raging for more than 20 days now and have become a cause of worldwide concern. People from all over the globe have taken to social media to pray and call others to action.

Many of them have also urged the world’s richest man, Jeff Bezos who shares his company’s name with the forest to do something about the ghastly wildfire. Jeff’s multinational tech company Amazon focusses on e-commerce and cloud computing. Interestingly, it gets its name from the Amazon River that runs through the rain forest.

The hashtag #ActForTheAmazon, which was created to ask Jeff Bezos to save the Amazon forest using his vast fortune is going viral on Twitter.

Jeff has, however, not made any comment on the forest fire yet. We hope he looks into the matter soon and does his bit to save the Amazon rainforest from destruction!
