Days after the Pulwama Attack orchestrated by Pakistan based terror troop Jaish-e-Muhammad which took the lives of more than 40 CRPF jawans leaving several others injured, India strikes back.
Ever since the attack, outraged citizens have been demanding revenge upon the terrorist groups, social media has been flooded with messages of peace and hate, riots have struck across Jammu and Kashmir, and it has been a complete chaos.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given the Indian forces a free hand and assured to settle the books once and for all.
At 3.30 am today, the Indian Air Force has successfully carried out pre-emptive non-military strikes on terrorist camps across LoC.
12 Mirage 2000 fighter jets struck joint training camps of JeM and completely destroyed them by shelling 1,000 kg bombs. It took 19 minutes to complete the operation.
According to sources, this is the first cross-border air strike India has carried out in nearly five decades.
Politicians, sportspersons, celebs, and citizens have been lauding IAF’s move. Countless have taken on their social media handles to share their reaction on India striking back.
Proud of our #IndianAirForce fighters for destroying terror camps. अंदर घुस के मारो ! Quiet no more! #IndiaStrikesBack

Pakistan's stupid claim that #IndianAirForce fighter jets entered & dropped payload but there's no casualty reminds me of the situation when a kid slaps another kid in a fight and the other kid says "Nahi laga", then goes back home & cries hard. 🔥😭😂#SurgicalStrike2 #Balakot

Great job by the #IndianAirForce. The #IAFStrikes have sent the much needed signal to Pakistan and the terrorists it’s harbouring – don’t think you can get away with acts like the #PulwamaAttack. Bravo to the #IAF men and my full support for the action.

My hope is that today’s #IndianAirForce strike makes Pakistan rethink its approach to relations with India.
My fear is that Pakistan will continue with its ruinous strategy. Of course, that will have repercussions for Kashmir.
Let hope prevail.

The Foreign Secretary, Vijay Gokhale, gave an official statement earlier today justifying the attack, revealing how JeM was plotting other attacks in the country.
Vijay Gokhale: Credible information was received that JeM was attempting other attacks in the country. A pre-emptive strike became important. India struck the biggest camp of JeM in Balakot. pic.twitter.com/PCgCt1xVL8

A few days back, the mastermind behind the Pulwama Attack, Jaish-e-Mohammad commander Kamran, was killed by the Indian Army in an encounter.
With this, India has sent a strong message across the border that it will not tolerate further terror attacks and will strike back twice as hard if necessary!
