Indian Air Force Mirage 2000 Fighter Jets Strike Terror Camp Across LoC Killing 200, Watch Video

12 days after the Pulwama attack orchestrated by Jaish-e-Muhammad and executed by suicide bomber Adil Ahmad Dar that shook us all, the Indian Air Force has successfully carried out aerial strikes on terrorist camps at 3.30 am today.

12 Mirage 2000 fighter jets were deployed by the IAF to fly across the line of control to JeM base camps located in Balakot, Chakothi and Muzaffarabad. 1000 kg bombs were used for this purpose.

According to Hindustan Times, laser-guided bombs were used to strike the terror control rooms. It was a pre-emptive non-military strike and no civilians were killed. The last time the Indian Air Force used the Mirage fighter jets and went across the LoC was in 1971.

The Foreign Secretary, Vijay Gokhale, has given an official statement that the biggest JeM camp in Balakot has been wiped out.

The spokesperson for Pakistan Armed Forces has denied any casualties.

Previously, the mastermind of the Pulwama attack was killed in an encounter. With this India has shown a no-tolerance policy and retaliated towards terrorism finding a haven in PoK.

PM Narendra Modi had earlier given the Indian army a free hand while dealing with terrorists. After the surgical strike, he chaired a Cabinet Committee meeting on Security. The Home Minister and External Affairs Minister were also present at this high-profile meeting. NDTV reports that he has briefed the President about the strikes.
