Harbhajan Singh & Mohammad Amir Engage In Ugly Twitter Fight, Bhajji Calls Him A ‘Disgrace’

On Sunday night, India lost to Pakistan by 10 wickets in a T20 World Cup 2021 match in Dubai. A lot has been happening since then. While Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni were lauded for congratulating Pakistani cricketers for their win, our very own Mohammed Shami was insensitively criticized online for India’s loss.

However, Harbhajan Singh and Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir recently engaged in an ugly verbal battle on Twitter, reports Hindustan Times.

It started when Mohammad Amir took a dig at Bhajji after India’s loss and asked whether he broke his TV after the match.

To this, Bhajji replied by reminding Amir of how he hit a six against the left-armer to win the match for India in the 2010 Asia Cup.

Amir went on to share a video of Shahid Afridi hitting sixes off Harbhajan in a test match.

Harbhajan went a step further and reminded Amir of the time when he was found guilty of spot-fixing at Lord’s 2010 test match between Pakistan and England, after which Amir was banned from playing for around 5 years.

From this point on, the banter took an ugly turn as Amir abused him.

Bhajji responded to his tweet by slamming Amir for “insulting” cricket and calling him a “disgrace”.
