Game of Thrones S7: 2 Major Fan Predictions Came True And We Can Feel The ‘Chills’

Disclaimer: The post is dark and full of spoilers, tread carefully.

Game of Thrones season 7 has ended with a bang and we are still gaping at whatever happened when The Dragon met the Wolf. Phew! It was one of the longest episodes in show’s history, close to 80 minutes (79 minutes and 43 seconds to be precise). And GoTians were left thrilled.

Amid the developing storyline and the plot-twists, there were moments which the fans had expected and predicted for the show. And the satisfaction received upon seeing them come true is immense. *grins ear-to-ear*

While a section of the fandom was rooting for Jon and Dany to come together in episode 7 (which they did ?), there were fans who had predicted two major moments — one was Littlefinger’s death and another was the Night King using now-dead Viserion to melt the wall.

Don’t believe us? Well, this Redditor, ColtonCM, had elaborated Sansa-Arya plotting against Littlefinger about a couple of weeks ago.

Adding to that is the significance of the Catspaw dagger and the theory by Redditor, banohal.

Now, coming to the second one. We told you that people are putting their chips in that Viserion is now an ice dragon. And, that the Night King basically lay a trap for Dany and dragons, so that he could kill one and make him lead the army of the dead. That happened in the last episode only.

We also told you that as per theories, NK needed one dragon to melt The Wall. A Huffington Post report read,

“The Wall is built with magic. Dragons are also magic. This seems like a problem. When Bran was marked by the Night King in Season 6 of “Game of Thrones,” it broke the magical protections on the Three-Eyed Raven’s cave. People started speculating that when Bran crossed the Wall, the magical protections placed upon it would also break.

While that theory could still be true, it may be irrelevant now. Since the Wall was built using magic, likely something magical will be needed to break it ― and the White Walkers now have something pretty magical.”

Those of you who saw the finale witnessed it.

People are trying real hard to accept that The Wall at Eastwatch-by-sea came down, like a stash of cards. Dead-V now breathes blue fire that brought it down.

Woah!

Now, the WWs and the wights are walking past The Wall, Lord save all. Or rather, the Lords and the Queens, who are uniting to fight the real enemy in the North.

This is huge. The Old Gods and New know what we are feeling right now *take a moment to let that sink in*

The long wait for the eighth season of Game of Thrones begins. ? But till then, we are gushing over Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen’s romance. ❤
