Bengaluru Guy Arrested For Selling Drugs Disguised As ‘Sai Baba Ka Prasad’

Remember a while back when a family in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, accidentally cooked weed thinking it was methi leaves? They fainted after eating it and had to be hospitalized.

Now, Bengaluru Police has arrested a 25-year-old drug peddler named Vikram Khileri who supplied brown sugar using a private courier service and government bus drivers saying it was ‘Sai Baba Prasad’. According to India Today, he sold drugs to clients in Hubballi, Ballari, Hassan, Vijayapura, and even in Tamil Nadu by packing them in envelopes that had to be collected from bus stops.

Deccan Herald reports that cops caught hold of him after a decoy gave an order of 2 packets and he came to City Market with 90 grams of drugs hidden in his helmet. They also revealed that the courier company as well as the bus drivers were unaware of the drugs they were delivering for Rs.100 per packet.

The accused originally hails from Rajasthan. He came to Bengaluru 4 years ago from Gujarat to find work as a construction worker. Later, he befriended a peddler from Gujarat staying in the city and began selling drugs himself.

Cops are now looking for the peddler he met who is now absconding.
