Remember the 31-year-old Delhi man, Sidharth Sharma, who lost his life in the Mercedes hit and run case?
While his family and friends are still grieving over his sudden demise, there is one member of the family who is hoping against hope that he will return.
And it’s Siddharth’s dog, Benson. The dog has not left Siddharth’s room for past one week and has been quiet after his sudden disappearance.
His death has left Benson devastated, clearly. The 6-year-old golden labrador has been left heartbroken after this gut-wrenching experience.
He has been sitting near the entrance door, hoping Siddharth would drop by. Every time the doorbell rings, he rushes to the door, only to not find Siddharth and end up getting sad.
The dog has now been taken to Nitin Narain’s (Siddharth’s friend) house. Nitin told that the ‘dog is not being his usual self.’
He has to be forced to eat his lunch and dinner.
This is what Nitin had to say:
Siddharth referred to Benson as his brother and the dog was quite jovial.
His friends have decided to take the dog to his parents’ house in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh.
This really gave me goosebumps and I feel sorry for Benson.
Also, I hope Siddharth gets justice after he lost his life because of a reckless teenager.
‘There is no faith which has never yet been broken, except that of a truly faithful dog.‘ ~ Konrad Lorenz.
May your soul rest in peace, Siddharth.
