Some people might argue that since social media influencers share their lives on public platforms, they should learn how to accept criticism as well. But a lot of faceless people online don’t just criticise. They troll, hate, spew venom, and even harass. Nobody on a social media platform is inviting inappropriate comments, DMs and emails and neither do they deserve them.
A digital creator named Dhruvi Parmar (@dhruviiiparmar on Instagram and Twitter) shared a screenshot of a mail she received on the email ID she uses for brand collaborations. Since her work email address is public, a guy named Hardik Chauhan from Gujarat thought that it was appropriate to ask her whether she offers other services like casual hookups.
The guy was willing to pay her for the services and with “mutual consent” wanted to have a “great time” together. Have a look at the email here:
Dhruvi tweeted the screenshot and wrote, “How characterless you must be to email someone this. I’m so done.”

Several people online thought it was very disturbing for her to experience something like this and called it “cheap”. Imagine being a female content creator on a public social media platform where innumerable people flood your DMs and emails with inappropriate texts.
Yuck man this is so disturbing
