Last month, cops from Haryana’s Panchkula district surprised a senior citizen living alone on his birthday. They made him cut a cake and sang the birthday song as he couldn’t be with his family due to the lockdown.
Yesterday, police officers from Assam’s Nagaon district did the same for Shri KP Agarwal’s 78th birthday. According to The Indian Express, his wife and children are currently in Bengaluru and are unable to join him on his special day because of travel restrictions.
A beautiful and moving surprise!
When @nagaonpolice knocked the door of Shri KP Agarwal to wish him on his 78th Birthday, as his family members were not around due to the #Lockdown.
May today & all of your days be amazing.

In the video, the cops can be seen offering him sweet treats and holding signs that say “I am your son” and “I am your daughter” so he feels that he is with loved ones.
Twitter is praising the police department for their heartwarming gesture. Take a look.
Indebt to the entire team of Assam Police…made him reach to her daughter sitting away so far. So happy to see him. He said…this is his best birthday and first time someone celebrated like this. Nothing can bring more joy than this 🙏🙏🙏

Not only the elderly, cops around the world are also surprising kids who can’t host birthday parties and making their day extra special. Isn’t that wonderful?
