Haryana Senior Citizen In Tears After Police Surprises Him With Cake On His Birthday

2020 has been quite the bummer for people who have their birthdays in March, April, and May. With the pandemic and the nationwide lockdown, birthday celebrations are currently a distant dream!

However, one old man living alone in Panchkula, Haryana, was in for a surprise after the police decided to celebrate his birthday. According to India Today, in a video that has been going viral, Panchkula police surprised an elderly man on his birthday with a cake. The man got emotional and burst into happy tears!

When the elderly man says that his kids live elsewhere and that he lives alone, the police can be heard saying, “Hum bhi aapki bachche hai.”

They made him wear a birthday cap, sang him ‘Happy Birthday’, and made him cut a cake. Have a look at the video here:
