Seeing the kind of sacrifices our parents have made to give us a comfortable life – leaving a better serving of food for us, gifting us the best clothes during festivals and helping us financially whenever needed – many kids want to give back to their parents and fulfil the wishes that they left behind raising us.
Hence, Rida Tharana, a content creator on Instagram, decided to gift her father a car for his birthday, thereby fulfilling one of his lifelong wishes.
In an Instagram Reel, Rida shares that she hails from Coorg and that her family owned a Tata Nano 10 years back. However, his dad has been talking about getting a car for himself for the longest time and gifting him one made it to her bucket list.
So on 4th of January, she finally gifted him a car after having immensely done her research online. In the video, we see the father and daughter hugging and she hands him over the keys to the car. It’s a touching moment!
“Happy birthday Abbu… I love you till the moon and back. I know it’s been a journey for us both to understand each other but you are the first man I fell in love with and it shall forever remain the same. Thank you for believing in your girls and breaking the social norms,” Rida wrote on Instagram.
