Have there been times when you thought to yourself that once you grow older and begin to earn enough money to live a comfortable life, you’ll gift your parents everything they ever wanted and fulfil all their wishes? Well, one guy named Ujwal did so.
According to Indian Express, a guy named Ujwal gifted his father a brand new bike on his 59th birthday and documented the entire incident. What’s really special about this gift is that the bike was similar to that of Ujwal’s grandfather. The man (Ujwal’s father) used to love his father’s bike.
But as Ujwal’s grandfather used to work as a Sub-Inspector, the bike was returned back to the police department after his retirement. But last year, when Ujwal and his father visited a bike showroom, he saw his dad light up seeing the two-wheeler. However, he said that the bike is way out of his budget.
“My dad always used to love my grandpa’s bike which was returned back to the department as my grandpa was Sub-inspector. Until last year I had no idea how much he loved this bike when we randomly just visited the showroom to just check with the price but my dad was like, ‘We can’t afford this right now, it’s too expensive ‘,” Ujwal wrote on Instagram.
So for his father’s 59th birthday, he thought that there could never be a better gift than the bike. He wrote, “I’m thankful to God for giving me strength to fulfil his dreams, whatever I’m today it’s because of your support. I still remember when I quit my job & came told you I wanna pursue my passion & start a business & you said, “OK, do what makes you happy, I will always have your back!”
In the video that was shared by Ujwal, his dad is seen opening a gift box which contained the keys to the bike. He then goes outside the house to see his gift for the first time and when he finally does, he is brought to tears. It was a very emotional moment not just for him but for the entire family.
