Today is one of the rarest days when newspapers are not telling us ghastly stories that otherwise may seem unreal. Instead, they are bringing forth stories that reinstating our dwindling faith in humanity. Like the auto-driver who returned a bag with Rs 80,000 cash or the Chattisgarh nurse who braves crocodile infested water to reach her patients.
Fortunately, there is an addition and it goes to foster our belief in law and order that has often been in news for the wrong reasons.In fact, it also convinces us of the fact that not every cop is a brute.
If you have missed it, a Bengaluru cop recently helped a woman retrieve her lost wallet that contained Rs 5,000 in cash, debit cards, and other important documents.
The incident happened near Koramangala where the woman had dropped her belonging.
It was then PC Shanthakumar who found it and kept it safe with him and returned it to her when she came back looking for it.
Yes, cops like these exist.
